"The Madman!", script by Stan Lee, art by Tony DiPreta; A serious actor, portraying Hamlet, sees his star begin to lose some lustre when nepotism rears its head and the producer's cousin is made his understudy; The understudy proceeds to sabotage the actor to the point where he accidentally kills the actor's wife by mistake. "Danger - Quicksand!" text story. "A Killer in the Street," pencils by Paul Reinman , inks by Art Wallace; A police detective is obsessed with a serial killer whose victims are all young pretty women in red dresses; When his wife buys a red dress, he insists that she take it back and she reluctantly agrees; Working late on the case, he has no time to go home and they agree to meet downtown for dinner; He sees she's wearing the red dress after all and flies into a rage. "This House Is Haunted!", art by Ed Winiarski; Josiah Benson's son Adam inherits his dilapidated property where four squatters play poker; Adam gives them notice, to no avail, because they know the place is haunted and unrentable. "The Wooden Man"; Chick Black is a midget who looks like a wooden dummy; His modus operandi is to let people find him and take him in, whereupon he robs them, using his unique appearance and size to elude capture; On his latest heist, Chick shoots and kills a guard. 36 pgs., full color. "The Specimen!", art by Joe Maneely; A scientist plots to use a mermaid from Atlantis to gain world renown and so he lies to her that he loves her until he can build an escape-proof tank; Unfortunately for him, she has the exact same intentions for him and drags him down to Atlantis so they can use him as a specimen to model how human males appear in order to create an invasion force. "Hunger," pencils by Ben Brown, inks by David Gantz; A butcher poisons his ex-partner's meat locker in order to drive him out of business but then comes back later to make sure he did not leave any evidence behind and gets himself locked in; Over the course of several days he waits for someone to come and let him out, but no one comes. "Ashes to Ashes!", pencils by Al Eadeh; A woman burns her uncle to death before learning that the directions to his fortune are tattooed in a map upon his back. "The Broken Step" text story. "The Man in the Morgue," art by Vic Dowling; A hoodlum spends his last buck for a psychic reading and is told that his luck will change; After spending the night in an alley with nothing to eat an elderly man approaches him and he strangles him in order to rob him; The cops give chase and gun him down; The police wonder why the elderly man was in such a rundown area. "Lost!", art by Pete Tumlinson; Criminals hide loot in a cave and one is arrested and serves a jail sentence of twenty years; When he is released he goes back to the cave and shoots the man and woman who were lost in there for twenty years, but their son kills him. 36 pgs., full color.
