The first true science fiction comic, Planet Comics featured classic space opera with square-jawed heroes, rockets, rayguns and bug-eyed aliens of every stripe. Reprints most of issue #20: The Red Comet battles the Slasher and his gang of space hijackers; Gale Allen and the Girl Squadron set out to rescue Rika from the Outer Venusians; Flint Baker squares off against mad scientist Dr. Worr to save Earth. Untitled story; Huldan escapes prison posing as a robot in a load of others being delivered by Reef; Flint follows and together they thwart a plot of Huldane's to transform women into plant-being slaves. 36 pgs., full color.
