Story by Floyd Gottfredson. Art by Earl Duvall and Floyd Gottfredson. One of the earliest Mickey Mouse comics, from pioneering comics publisher David McKay. Collects comic strips from Jan. 19 - Feb. 25, 1931 and Nov. 16 - Dec. 5, 1931. Mickey and his rival Kat Nipp get into a contest to tie knots in each other's tails. (This volume contains the only known reprint of the infamous strip of 2/4/31, where Kat Nipp actually snips off the end of Mickey's tail with a pair of scissors!)
