The relationship between Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Black Bolt, Medusa, Gorgon, Karnak, Triton, and Crystal goes way back to many previous adventures, so their meeting in Attilan is a pleasant one. So the Avengers along with Reed Richards, Hank McCoy, and Henry Pym are called into check out and secure Northwind! The inspection is proceeding on schedule, when suddenly the Hulk attacks! However, General Zedrao permits Starfox and his teammates to use the imperial power asteroid to pursue Nebula. On the way to the power asteroid, the Avengers make a pit stop in the 1930's…skrull-style! While visiting with the "gangster" Skrulls, Earth's Mightiest Heroes discover that a major power struggle is underway on the asteroid…centering around a device called the hyperwave bomb! Can the Avengers separate the good skrulls from the bad skrulls? Maybe the Fantastic Four will help! But either way, it's going to be a red-letter day for the Skrull empire!
