A diplomatic assignment to Austria is impeded by Quigley and Beals' inclination to compete for every comely woman they see, whether she's a military secretary or a sinister Russian spy. Q. and B. are assigned to protect a visiting Russian opera star with info on commie agents, but the commie agents are there too, disguised as the FBI. Marine private Gwendolyn gets all dolled-up for a formal dance, forgetting that "formal" in the military means "in uniform." To stop Quigley from reading his mail, Beals arranges a confrontation for him with a bulked-out lady wrestler. This issue's selection of good-girl art pin-ups from various artists has a movie theme, but the starlets have made-up names like "Claudette Shmaltz."
