At a children's circus benefit, Captain Flash reveals how "cobalt rays" gave him the ability to create "miniature atomic blasts" in his body that give him super-powers. Joined by Ricky as a teen sidekick, he decided to become Captain Flash to battle evil. A strange creature emerges from mirrors to fatally drain scientists of their silicon, so Cap Flash and Ricky try to send it back to its mirror dimension. Cover resembles a famous scene from the film Dr. Strangelove, which was released 14 years later. The Beginning; The Iron Mask; Tomboy: The Claw; The Young Brave; The Mirror Man. 32 pages, Full Color.
