Fritzi was later known as "Aunt Fritzi" in the Nancy comic strip. Fritzi gives bearded beachgoers helium balloons, so they don't get their beards wet, in a strip whose final panel would be a delight to Dr. Seuss or Salvador Dali. After defeating Curly Kayoe for the world championship, boxer Dynamite Dunn refuses Happy Daye's demand for a rematch. Abner takes the place of a statue he broke, in a Li'l Abner storyline by Al Capp. Plus the Ripley-like Strange as It Seems.
