    Animator Paul Terry's Terrytoons featured Mighty Mouse, Heckle & Jeckle, and other classic cartoon characters of yesteryear. Numbering continues from Terry-Toons Comics (1942 Timely/Marvel/St. John) #86; confusingly, both series had near-identical issues #85 and #86. The cats form a peace agreement with the mice of Terrytown, but the dolls they give the mice children are filled with explosives, and only Mighty Mouse can save them. Heckle and Jeckle find haunted ghost money at the bottom of the lake, but it explodes whenever they try to spend it. Farmer Al Falfa builds a new scarecrow, but those crows are canny.
