Published Jan 2001 by Antarctic Press.$2.50
By Ted Nomura. AP Core Title! "Queens of the Seas": In 1945, the United States Navy suffered its biggest crisis of survival due to the intense Japanese Kamikaze attacks. The kamikazes' main targets were the fleet carriers, better known to most as the "Queens of the Seas." Although the U.S. Navy's submarine forces were providing a most valuable "silent service" by sinking more than 50% of the enemy ships using less than 10% of their naval strength, it was the American aircraft carriers that took the brunt of the Japanese attention due to their high visibility. Their escort ships often sacrificed themselves to draw the enemy fire away from the primary target. No chapter in history displayed such courage under fire as when enemies committing suicide to achieve their mission were so alien to the men who faced them. In this alternate-1946 history, the invasion of Japan placed the carriers in even more danger. Three new armored-deck Midway-class carriers can only slow down the steel-plated rain of blood and guts. Bi-monthly. b&w, 24pgs. Cover price $2.95.

By Ted Nomura. In this alternate World War II that extended to 1946, a series of unexpected changes of events has forced the Americans to invade Japan as originally planned, starting with "Operation Olympic" in November 1945. With the battle for Kyushu racking up heavy casualties, the Americans are forced to execute "Operation Coronet," the invasion of the Kanto Plain on the main island of Honshu, in March 1946, as planned. But with Germany still at war in this alternate history, additional aid from Hitler's forces in Japan to divert the Allied effort in Europe causes more difficulties in Allied logistics in the Pacific, and it's a battle to the death heading for a march toward Tokyo. Bimonthly. b&w, 24pgs. Cover price $2.95.
