Characters Freex [Cayman; Anything; Pressure; Sweet Face]; Rune (disguised as Anallah, an Egyptian priest); 4 other unnamed Egyptian Freex; unnamed Egyptian slaves and soldiers; A.J.; Contrary and her students
Synopsis The Freex are transported to ancient Egypt where they are honored as ancient gods. While there, they meet 4 others like them, including a half woman/half snake, a flyer with ghost abilities, and one who looks alot like their former teammate Boom Boy. They find their cares are leaving them, like someone is affecting their minds. After the Freex learn about a subterranean race where the Egyptian Freex came from, they investigate a scream. They discover that Anallah the priest is really Rune, a vampire who is trying to feast on the Boom Boy lookalike. Rune escapes after a brief fight and the Freex return home. However, their travels have changed the timeline, and they return with a fifth member known as A.J., who brought the team together originally. They meet with Contrary and some of her students before deciding to go after Rafferty, who has supposedly killed Prime.
