Synopsis Dr. Zadar decides to eliminate two foes: The Cell, a H.I.V.E. offshoot, and the Web. He takes control of the Webhosts suits and sends them aganst the Cell. The Web realizes one host wasn't effected: Kim Brand in Chicago. Her suit wasn't effected due to modifications she's made to the suit. She doesn't call herself a Webhost anymore-- she's goes by the name Fly Girl. The two heroes team up and release the other Webhosts. Then both heroes are offered a chance to join a new government sanctioned super-team.

Synopsis The Hangman brings the Jackal to justice and the life of both Hangman and Dr. Dickering go on as they were. But the Hangman learns of other avatars of execution including the Mad Gasser and Madame Guillotine. The Jackal is found guilty of multiple murders and is sentenced to die by electrocution. At his death, he is offered the chance to become an immortal avatar of execution, with the task of sowing seeds of chaos and discontent. He readily agrees.
